MAH-AAC-CET

MAH-AAC-CET is common entrance test conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admission to the first year of four-year full-time degree course in Bachelor of Fine Art (B.F.A) in the Government, Govt. Aided and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.

  • The candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Fine Art (Fine Art and Applied Art) degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for all papers.

Eligibility for Admission to Undergraduate Visual Art Courses (Fine Art and Applied Art)

All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MAH-AAC-CET 2019. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MAH-AAC-CET 2019.

Syllabus

Object Drawing Practical
This is the practical paper, wherein a manmade/natural specimen will be provided to the candidate. He /she will have to draw a drawing of the specimen on the answer sheet as directed in the question paper. The question will be based to the test the interest of candidate in drawing, proportions,rendering in lead pencil and overall observation.
Design Practical
The question will be based to test the interest of various forms to create good design in the given area, rendering in color, and the finishing skill.
Objective Type Theory
There will be questions related to art , craft, design,color and computer graphics / computer basics in this paper. These questions will be of objective type.
Memory Drawing Practical
The question will be based to test the Interest of candidate in drawing and arranging the sequences with memory for the subject given, rendering in colour, placement of elements in memory drawing and creating the environment.
